Frequently asked questions

Ordering & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We ship across India.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free. A fixed Order Handling / Fulfilment Fee of ₹39 per order applies and is shown before you pay. If the amount at checkout looks different, please write to us at support@steadybear.co.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are usually dispatched within 3–4 days of being placed. Public holidays may cause delays.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery may take up to 14 days depending on your PIN code. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed date, and we will try to expedite wherever we can. If your order is delayed, please write to us at support@steadybear.co.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched. You may also be contacted by our delivery partners.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

You can ask us to cancel before your order enters dispatch processing — write to support@steadybear.co with your order number. Once it has left our warehouse, you'll need to use the returns process instead.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at present.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return window?

You can request a return within 7 days from the date you actually receive the product — not from the courier's "Marked Delivered" scan. If a product page states a different return period, that one applies.

The courier marked my order delivered but I never received it. What do I do?

Write to us at support@steadybear.co as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of the delivery update, with a screenshot of the message and your order number, and we'll open a claim. A delivery scan on its own doesn't shorten your return period if you hadn't actually received the parcel at that point.

Can I return something because I changed my mind?

Yes, within the return window, provided the product is unused, clean, dry, undamaged, unwashed, unaltered and complete. Return it with everything it came with — packaging, labels, tags, accessories, inserts, manuals, warranty cards, free gifts and bundled items. Any hygiene, security or protector tag or seal must still be intact.

Can I open the box to look at the product?

Yes. Opening outer packaging to inspect a product doesn't make it ineligible on its own.

What makes a return ineligible?

A return may be declined where inspection shows use, washing, stains, odour, contamination, damage, alteration, or missing components or tags.

Products that sit against the body have additional hygiene checks. Sleeping or sitting on a product, wearing it, or placing it inside footwear will generally make it ineligible for a change-of-mind return.

My product came vacuum-packed. Can I still return it?

For a change-of-mind return, generally only while the inner vacuum or compression packaging, seal or hygiene tag is still intact. Once opened and expanded, it isn't returnable for change of mind, comfort preference or size selection.

This doesn't affect your right to report a defect, damage, a wrong product, or a product materially different from what was described.

Do I need to re-vacuum-pack it?

No. If we accept an opened product for inspection or replacement, we'll send you packing instructions for that case.

Does a return request mean my return is approved?

Not automatically. The product is inspected against the conditions above, and approval follows from that.

What if my product is defective or damaged?

Write to us at support@steadybear.co within 48 hours of delivery with photos or a video and your order number. If the problem couldn't reasonably have been spotted at delivery, tell us as soon as you notice it and within the return window.

Defects, damage in transit, wrong products and material differences are handled separately from change-of-mind returns, and the vacuum-pack restriction doesn't apply.

Who pays for return shipping?

Once we approve a return, we arrange the pickup where we can, and there is no separate reverse-pickup charge unless one is clearly shown to you before you proceed. Please don't ship a product back until we've approved the return and sent you instructions.

How long do refunds take?

Once the product reaches our warehouse and passes inspection, we initiate the refund — normally within 7–10 business days. Refunds go to your original payment method, and how soon the amount appears in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

Can I exchange instead of returning?

We don't offer direct exchanges. If you've changed your mind, return the product within the return window and conditions above and place a new order. If your product is defective, damaged or incorrect, write to us and we'll look at a replacement or another remedy.

SoftFloat Pillows

Which SoftFloat should I choose?

The 3-Zone Sleep System has two heights in one pillow and three contoured zones. Pick it if you move between back and side sleeping, or aren't sure which height suits you.

Deep Cradle has a deep central well your head sinks into, with firm contours around it. Pick it if you like the feeling of sinking into a pillow but want your neck held.

Which height should I use?

On the 3-Zone, the low side suits back sleeping and smaller builds; the high side suits side sleeping, where the gap between head and mattress is larger. Most people know within a night or two which side is theirs. Sleep as naturally as you normally do — the pillow is designed to support you, not the other way around.

What are the three zones?

The back-sleep zone keeps your head and neck level when you lie flat. The side-sleep zone lifts and carries your shoulder when you turn. The cervical zone sits beneath the neck and supports you in both positions.

What are the dips on the surface for?

They're vents. The recesses let heat escape from the core rather than collecting under your head. They also leave room for earbuds if you sleep with them in.

Does it get hot?

Cooling gel runs through the foam core, the surface recesses vent heat, and the cover is cool-touch, so the pillow is designed to stay comfortable through the night.

Will it flatten over time?

The foam conforms under weight and recovers in about three seconds. It's built to hold its shape rather than compress permanently.

There's a smell when I unpack it. Is that normal?

Yes. Memory foam can carry a faint smell from packaging for the first day or two. Leave it out in a ventilated room and it clears.

How long until it feels right?

Give it a week. Changing pillow height changes how your neck sits, and most people need a few nights to settle, particularly if you're moving from a flat pillow.

Coccyx & Lumbar Cushions

Will the coccyx cushion fit my chair?

It suits most office chairs, dining chairs and car seats. Measure your seat if you're unsure.

What is the cut-out at the back for?

It's an open channel that sits beneath your tailbone, so your weight is carried by the sit bones and thighs rather than the base of your spine.

Can I use it in my car?

Yes. The anti-slip base holds it in position on both office chairs and car seats.

Does it get hot after a few hours?

There are three cooling layers: a gel sheet across the sitting surface, cooling through the foam, and a cool-touch ice-silk cover.

Will it flatten?

It's moulded as a single piece of BASF foam with no glued layers, so there are no bonded seams to separate. The foam is slow-rebound and recovers its shape between uses.

What's the weight limit?

The coccyx cushion comes in two sizes. Medium is recommended up to 80 kg and Large for above 80 kg. Both are designed to hold their shape under weight.

Where should the lumbar cushion sit?

Against the inward curve of your lower back, roughly at belt level. Adjust it up or down until it feels like the chair is holding you rather than you holding yourself upright.

Will it work on any chair?

It works on flat and lightly curved chair backs, in an office or a car.

Can I use both together?

Yes, they're designed for the same chair and the same working day, one under you and one behind you.

Are these medical products?

No. They're comfort and support products for everyday sitting, made for long hours at a desk. They are not a treatment for any condition and this is not medical advice. If you have a diagnosed back or tailbone condition, speak to your doctor about what's appropriate for you.

Insoles

What size do I order?

Use the size chart on the product page — sizes run XS to XL and cover EU 35–47. If you're between sizes, take the larger one and trim it to fit.

Can I trim them?

Yes. Take out your existing insole, lay it on top as a guide, and trim along the toe end only. Cut a little at a time and test the fit. You can always take more off.

Which insole should I choose?

Five-Zone uses a different material in each zone, including Poron® at the heel. Choose it if you do a lot of exercise or sport and deal with more shock or uneven weight distribution.

Gel-Arch uses gel at the heel and forefoot with a rigid shield through the arch. If you're specifically looking for arch support, go for Gel-Arch.

Both are made for heavy-duty athletics.

Will they fit my shoes?

They suit most trainers, running shoes and work shoes with a removable insole. Take out the original insole first — don't layer them. Very tight-fitting or thin-soled shoes may feel cramped.

Do I need to break them in?

Give them a few days. Arch support changes how your foot sits, and it can feel unfamiliar at first. Start with shorter wear and build up.

Can I use one pair across different shoes?

You can move them between shoes, though it's easier to keep a pair in each pair of shoes you wear regularly.

Are these orthotics?

No. They're comfort and support insoles for everyday wear and training. If you have a diagnosed foot condition, speak to a podiatrist or doctor about what you need.

3D Weighted Eye Mask

Why is it weighted?

The weight does two things. It presses the fill into the gaps at your nose bridge and eye socket, which is where flat masks leak light. And because the weight holds the seal, the strap doesn't have to, so you can wear it loose.

Will it press on my eyes?

No. The recessed cups hold everything clear of the eyelid, so you can blink normally through the night. All the weight sits on the brow and cheekbones.

How tight should the strap be?

Loose. Settle the mask onto your brow and cheekbones and adjust only until it feels comfortable. Over-tightening works against the design.

Can I sleep on my side with it?

Yes. The weight and the contour help it stay in place when you turn.

Breath Trainer

What does it do?

It applies resistance to your breathing, so the muscles that draw air in and push it out are working against a load. It's the same principle as adding weight to any other exercise.

Which resistance level do I start on?

Level one. Move up when the current setting stops feeling like work. There's no benefit to starting high.

How often should I use it?

Ideally twice a day, for about 30 minutes in total.

Who is it for?

Anyone who trains — runners, cyclists, swimmers, singers and people starting out. It's a fitness trainer, not a medical device.

How do I clean it?

It comes apart for washing. Rinse the components in warm soapy water and air dry fully before reassembling.

PCM Cooling Neck Ring

How do I use it?

Place it in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 20 minutes, then wear it around your neck during or after your workout.

How long does the cooling last?

Up to 2 hours during intense activity, and up to 4 hours at home or in an office. Actual duration varies with temperature, sun exposure and how hard you're working.

How is it different from an ice pack?

The phase change material holds a single steady temperature as it melts, rather than going sharply cold and then warming up. That's what makes it wearable for hours.

Can I reuse it?

Yes. Re-chill and wear again. There's nothing to replace and no batteries.

Will it leak?

The gel is sealed inside. Don't pierce or cut the ring.

Materials, Certifications & Safety

What is your foam made of?

The coccyx cushion uses German BASF polyurethane memory foam, moulded as a single piece with no glued layers.

What is CertiPUR-US?

An independent certification for flexible polyurethane foam. It tests that the foam is made without certain restricted substances and meets limits on emissions. It applies to the foam core, not the cover.

What is OEKO-TEX Standard 100?

A textile certification that tests fabrics for harmful substances. It applies to our covers.

To be precise: OEKO-TEX certifies the absence of tested harmful substances. It isn't an antibacterial or hypoallergenic certification, and we don't claim it as one.

What is Poron®?

A branded open-cell polyurethane used in the heel of our insoles. It's engineered for repeated impact and recovers its structure rather than packing down over time.

Are the products safe for sensitive skin?

Our covers are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning they've been tested for harmful substances. If you have a known skin sensitivity or allergy, check the materials list on the product page before ordering.

Care & Cleaning

Can I wash the cover?

Yes. The covers on our pillows and cushions are removable and machine washable. Air dry — don't tumble dry.

Can I wash the foam?

No. Memory foam should never be machine washed or submerged. Water breaks down the foam structure and it won't recover.

How do I clean the foam?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Blot rather than rub, and let it air dry completely before putting the cover back on.

How do I clean the eye mask?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry flat. Don't machine wash or tumble dry.

How do I clean the insoles?

Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry fully before putting them back in your shoes. Don't machine wash them or dry them on a radiator.

How do I clean the breath trainer?

Take it apart and rinse the components in warm soapy water. Air dry fully before reassembling.

How do I clean the cooling ring?

Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Don't put it in a dishwasher or in boiling water.

My pillow feels firm when it's cold. Is that normal?

Yes. Memory foam responds to temperature and is firmer in cold weather. It softens within a few minutes of body contact.

Can I put any of these in direct sunlight?

Air them in a ventilated room rather than direct sun. Prolonged UV exposure degrades foam and fades covers.
